Difference between Yahusha and Yausha

In this case, there are certain messianic groups that use "Yahusha" and others that use "Yau'sha", which are also incorrect pronunciations of the name יהושע: Yahushua. The difference between the two lies in the pronunciation of the letter Hei: ה, which according to the latter is classified as a "silent" letter, as the sound of the letter H is called in the English language, which is a false statement.

The fact is that in Hebrew no letter is mute: they all have a particular sound, and the letter Hei is characterized by having a soft sound like an exhalation of breath. as opposed to the letter chet: ח which presents a more guttural and strong sound. Evidence of this, are the vowel points found in names ending with the three letters יָהוּ: Yahu, such as the name YirmeYahu: יִרְמְיָהוּ (Strong H3414 ) and even the very name of the patriarch Abram ( אַבְרָם, Strong H87) to whom precisely Yahuah added the letter Hei: ה, to make his name Abraham: אַבְרָהָם

(Strong H85) (See Gen. 17:5).

Therefore, the "name" Yausha is a mispronunciation of יהושע: Yahushua, for it omits the sound of the letter ה leaving only the letter ו:Waw in the vocalization, and as will be seen in the next section, the Sha pronunciation of the last two letters שע is also incorrect.

Yeshua

The true Name of the Messiah and the son of Yahuah is not "Yeshua", it is Yahushua. "Yeshua"

(Strong H3442. heb: יֵשׁוּעַ. Meaning: " He is saved" or “salvation”) is ONLY a contracted form of referring to the name Yahushua

(יהושע); but it is clearly not the same and is not a substitute for it, for Yahushua means: "Yahuah is Salvation" or “yahuah has become my salvation” and Yeshua only means "He is saved" or “salvation”, and as can be seen in the form of writing, this second name has the letters Hei: ה and Waw:ו removed: Yahushua (יהושע) ≠ Yeshua (ישוע).

Based on the meaning and scripture of Yahushua's Name, it is determined that only this could fulfill the prophecy of the First Coming, spoken of in Psalm 118:26: "Blessed is he that cometh in the name of Yahuah (יהוה):

we bless thee from the house of Yahuah." That is the reason why you can find the three letters (יהו = Yahu) of the Tetragrammaton (יהוה = YHwH = pron. Yahuah) in Yahushua's name: יהושע.

Yahshua

This erroneous version is a "name" that does not exist in the Hebrew language; what happens is that certain Messianic Jews, mistakenly, claim that the name יהושע (Yahushua) is pronounced as "Yahshua". However, this is false due to the omission of the pronunciation of the letter ו (Waw) in יהו (Yahu).

If the Name were actually pronounced this way, it would be spelled יהשע, which clearly does not occur nor is it recorded in any book of Scripture.

Pronunciation of the last two letters of the name יהושע and its variation יהושוע.

The argument refuting the pronunciation of the last letters שע as Sha, both in Yahusha and Yausha, is based on the evidence of the vowel points in שֻׁעַ of the proper name יְהֹושֻׁעַ (Strong H3091), which allow us to demonstrate that its pronunciation is SHUA. Moreover, in the same Strong reference, there is another way of writing the name with the use of a second letter Waw (ו) as follows: יְהוֹשׁוּעַ.

ACCORDING TO THE “AMERICAN HERITAGE DICTIONARY” THE ETYMOLOGICAL ORIGIN OF JESUS IS:

MIDDLE ENGLISH “JESUS”, FROM LATE LATIN “ISUS”, FROM GREEK “IESOUS” FROM HEBREW “YU”, FROM “Y’HOUA, JOSHUA.”

IF WE DO A QUICK STRONGS LEXICON OF THE GREEK “IESOUS” (#2424) IT WILL TELL US IT IS OF THE HEBREW ORIGIN (#3091) yehôshûa = SAME AS JOSHUA SON OF NUN! ( WILL ELABORATE MORE ON THIS AS WE CONTINUE) 

AROUND 178 CE, A PAGAN BY THE NAME OF CELSUS ENGAGED IN WRITTEN DEBATES WITH BELIEVERS, IN ONE OF THEM, CELSUS ADDRESSING THE BELIEVERS SAID:

“BUT OF COURSE THEY THINK OTHERWISE; THEY ASSUME THAT BY PRONOUNCING THE NAME OF THEIR TEACHER, THEY ARE ARMORED AGAINST THE POWERS OF THE EARTH AND AIR. THEY ARE QUITE INSISTENT ON THE EFFICACY OF THE NAME AS A MEAN OF PROTECTION: PRONOUNCE IT IMPROPERLY, THEY SAY , AND IT IS INEFFECTIVE! GREEK AND LATIN WILL NOT DO; IT MUST be SAID IN A BARBARIAN TONGUE TO WORK. SILLY AS THEY ARE, ONE FINDS THEM STANDING NEXT TO A STATUE OF ZEUS OR APOLLO OR SOME OTHER “god”, shouting… “see here: i blaspheme it, but it is powerless against me for i am a believer!” 

CELSUS on the true doctrine

CELSUS quoted believers as saying the name of “their teacher” (yahushua no doubt) must not be spoken improperly and that it must not be spoken in a “Greek” way or “Latin” way, but rather in a “barbarian tongue” for it to be effective. Greeks saw the Jews as barbarians…. Greeks saw Jews or Hebrew speaking people as people who were not a part of one of the ancient “ great nations”… a stereotype. Greeks saw Jews or hebrew speaking people as people to be less civilized or orderly as they were. The pagans saw the Hebrew language as nothing more than a barbarian language. 

Ezra 3:2 = mentions Joshua son of josedech as Jeshua the son of jozadak making it yeshua (#3442) or Yahshua instead of yahushua. 

Zechariah 6:11 = MENTIONS JOSHUA THE SON OF JOSEDECH MAKING IT YEHOSHÚA (#H3087) SON OF YEHOTSADAQ

NEHEMIAH 8:17 = ALSO USES JESHUA (#3442) AS IN JESHUA THE SON OF NUN. 

INTERESTINGLY #3442 AND #3443 AND #3444 ARE SPELLED THE SAME WAY BUT THE LEXICON LISTS THEM SEPARATLY. WHY?

EZRA 3:2-5:2, EZRA 4:8 - 6:18, EZRA 7:12-26, NEHEMIAH 8:17 AND SOME PARTS OF DANIEL HAVE SOME PORTIONS IN THEM WRITTEN ONLY IN ARAMAIC. ALTHOUGH MAJORITY OF THESE BOOKS THAT HAVE ARAMAIC, WERE WRITTEN IN HEBREW , THESE ARAMAIC SEGMENTS WERE DIRECTED SPECIFICALLY TO THOSE OF ARAMAIC TONGUE. IN RESULT THE ONLY TIMES WITH THE DIFFERENCES IN REFERENCE TO JOSHUA (YAHUSHUA) AS JESHUA. 

WE THEN CAN ESTABLISH THAT JESHUA (YESHUA) IS NOT A HEBREW WORD. YESHUA ISNT A PURE HEBREW WORD IT IS AN ARAMAIC WORD. THAT IS WHY THE LEXICON SEPARATES ALL FORMS OF JESHUA (YESHUA) #3442 AND #3443, #3444 ARE EQUAL IN CORRESPONDENCE TO ONE ANOTHER. 

ACTS 4:12 STATES THAT THERE IS NO OTHER NAME (SINGULAR) UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED. HOW THEN CAN I CHOOSE TO WILLFULLY CHANGE AND OR ALTER THIS NAME IN ANY WAY OR FORM?!!

SINCE THE HEAVENLY FATHERS NAME IS A HEBREW NAME (YAHUAH) I WOULDN'T EXPECT THE SONS NAME COMING FROM ANY OTHER LANGUAGE, WETHER IT BE GREEK, LATIN, ARAMAIC, OR ENGLISH!! WHILE FORMS TO BE MORE POPULAR IN TODAY AGE AND DAY LIKE “YESHUA” (ARAMAIC) IS NO DIFFERENT THAN OTHER FLAWED TRANSLITERATIONS SUCH AS “IESOUS” (GREEK) “IESUS” (LATIN) OR “JESUS” (ENGLISH). 

NONE OF THESE LANGUAGES CONVEY ACCURATELY THE ORIGINAL HEBREW PRONUNCIATION.

SO WHY NOT RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL AND CORRECT HEBRAIC FORM? 

THE BRANCH!

ZECHARIAH 6:9-13

He will sprout up from his place and rebuild the temple of YAHUAH. ¹³ Yes, he will rebuild the temple of YAHUAH; and he will take up royal splendor, sitting and ruling from his throne. There will be a cohen before his throne; and they will accept each other’s advice in complete harmony.

JEREMIAH 23:5 

“The days are coming,” says YAHUAH
when I will raise a righteous Branch for David.
He will reign as king and succeed,
he will do what is just and right in the land.”

THIS BRANCH BEING PROPHECIED IS NONE OTHER THAN YAHUSHUA HAMASHAICH THE KING AND THE PRIEST.

ZECHARIAH 6 IS A PROPHECY OF WHAT THE MESSIAHS NAME WOULD BE CALLED!!! ZECHARIAH WAS INSTRUCTED TO PUT A CROWN ON YAHUSHUAS HEAD THE SON OF YAHUTSADAK!! WHEN PLACING THE CROWN ON THE HEAD OF YAHUSHUA THE HIGH PRIEST, ZECHARIAH WAS TOLD TO PROCLAIM: “ BEHOLD THE MAN WHOS NAME IS THE BRANCH!!” 

MOSES WAS NOT ABLE TO BRING THE CHILDREN OF YISRAEL (ISRAEL) INTO THE PROMISED LAND, RATHER IT TOOK A MAN NAMED JOSHUA (YAHUSHUA) THE SON OF NUN TO BRING THEM IN INTO THE LAND OF PROMISE!

YAHUSHUA

IN THE CASE OF YAHUSHUA VS YAHUSHA, THERE LAYS ONLY ONE PROBLEM WITH YAHUSHA… BEING THAT those who use yahuah will also use YAHUSHA as the messiahs name.. they claim that Shúa (#h7768) means cry or cried out, failing to mention that it also means to help or to rescue or in others words to become salvation. They will claim that certain names will end in sha rather than in shua… a good example of that is 1 kings 19:16 elisha son of king David (#h477) and although has 58 accurrences in the tanakh (Old Testament) (#h477) is the correct form where it is contracted from which is then spelled out as Elishua and not elisha, which means el is salvation! Elishua the correct form of spelling and pronouncing it, although Elisha comes from the same reference yet it is derived from (#h474) elishua! 

The pronunciation Yahusha is philologically impossible in the original Hebrew and has support neither in archeological findings, such as the Dead Sea scrolls or inscriptions, nor in rabbinical texts as a form of Joshua.

Yahusha - This spelling is becoming increasingly popular today, it can be disproved that it is not the name of our messiah. The Masoretic scribes removed letters and in some cases replaced those letters with vowel points; therefore, vowel points can't just be discarded as if they don't matter. The most ancient form of the spelling of the Name of Yahushua is Yud/Yod, Hei, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin. This longest, most ancient spelling, was retained (perhaps by accident?) by the scribes failing to remove the second Waw in two places: in Deuteronomy 3:21 and Judges 2:7.. We do not believe this pronunciation (YAHUSHA) is correct because of this more ancient spelling with an additional Waw.

WE FULLY BELIEVE YAHUSHUA IS THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES! THE NAME THAT WAS GIVEN TO MEN SO THAT THEY may BE SAVED! YAHUAH HAS BECOME OUR SALVATION !!! EMmANUEL = EL WITH US , LITERALLY YAHUAH DWELLS WITH US AS ZECHARIAH SAYS YAHUAH WILL DWELL AND LEAVE HIS HOLY HABITATION TO BE WITH US MEN ON EARTH!
